MICHAEL "G-DIZ" KELLY

Head of A&R, AllSight Studios

Michael “G-Diz” Kelly is a multi-platinum producer, publisher and entertainment executive whose career spans more than three decades of artist development, recorded music, publishing, film, television and major-label operations. As Head of A&R at AllSight Studios, Kelly leads the company’s A&R and artist-development strategy, mentors emerging talent through its management operations, and serves as composer and musical director across select feature films within the studio’s original production slate.

Kelly’s career includes songwriting and production work on the Rocky V soundtrack and MC Hammer’s 3x Platinum Too Legit to Quit, as well as a Gold-certified remix production credit for Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch’s “Wildside.” His work has connected him with several generations of influential figures in American music, including James Brown, Herbie Hancock, Chaka Khan and the Gordy family.

A longtime creative collaborator of Kerry Gordy, Kelly worked on a recording that brought Motown founder Berry Gordy out of retirement to return to the producer’s chair—an uncommon chapter in the career of the executive who built one of the most consequential record companies in music history. Kelly’s artist-development work also includes early vocal direction and creative guidance for Jhené Aiko and members of B2K.

Beyond the studio, Kelly has built an extensive publishing and licensing portfolio comprising more than 330 registered works across ASCAP and BMI, with 514 documented cue sheets covering 479 television episodes across more than 160 series. His catalog has generated placements across film, broadcast, cable and international markets for more than three decades.

Kelly also spent more than 15 years at Universal Music Group, where his responsibilities crossed domestic and international label operations and encompassed production quality, artwork and global release integrity. His work there provided an institutional perspective on the development, management and distribution of creative assets at scale.

His current work extends into original media and technology. Kelly is the creator, host and executive producer of What’s Your Hip Hop?, an international documentary series in development at AllSight Studios, and creator of VTPS-01, a proprietary multisensory platform exploring the intersection of music, sound, wellness and technology.

At AllSight Studios, Kelly brings together the disciplines that have defined his career—artist development, production, publishing, intellectual property and major-label operations—to identify and develop talent and shape the musical direction of the studio’s expanding portfolio of original entertainment properties.
